On Friday 4 September 2026, members of the Wing New Town Action Group, together with Helen Sunday of Wing Parish Council, travelled to Aylesbury to hand-deliver a printed copy of our formal representation to Buckinghamshire Council.
The document sets out the detailed case submitted on behalf of the Action Group and Wing Parish Council in response to the Regulation 19 Draft Local Plan consultation and the proposed Wing New Town development.
The full representation brings together an executive summary, detailed analysis of NESS018, an appraisal of the Council’s NESS evidence, comments on the Sustainability Appraisal and Viability Assessment, and extensive supporting evidence and appendices.
Regulation 19 was the final statutory consultation stage before the Draft Local Plan proceeds towards independent examination. Buckinghamshire Council’s main consultation closed at 11:59pm on Sunday 6 September 2026.
Our representation brings together the work carried out by the Action Group over recent months, setting out our concerns, supporting evidence and detailed response to the proposals affecting Wing and the surrounding area.
Alongside the printed copy delivered to the Council offices, an electronic copy was also submitted to ensure the representation was formally received.
We are now making the complete document available publicly so that residents and anyone interested in the proposals can read exactly what was submitted.
